We all get together to celebrate Scott's birthday, and the fucker doesn't even come!
It was meant to be bowling at the AMF, which Gazz and James would have to sit out from due to their run in with the security some years earlier. Then the bowling was off but the drinks were on, then the drinks were still on but Scott wasn't coming because he was having his birthday the next day... which he didn't.
Sod it, we went out anyway. We've had a birthday celebration without the actual birthday boy being there before now, and we're not averse to doing it again if it means going down Call Lane and having a few cheeky Vimtos or something.
To mark this very special occasion, and in lieu of Scott, we flew in a very special guest who could get us all thrown out of every bar we went to just by being there. That's right, it's Pete's 17 year old girlfriend, Lucy. Fact is, Pete is a year or so out of his 3 Year Curve, so we're allowed to make fun of him for being a cradle robbing pedda-file, which we did, but damned if that chick couldn't put it away. The booze that is.
Gazz actually broke the law that night when he bought her a drink, but she bought him one back which probably balances it out. We hit BRB first, until they got bored with being open and flicked all the lights on, about eleven o'clock, upon which we sheened over to Norman for a cheeky half, moving right along to Jake’s before things got too settled.
This evening marks the induction of both The Murph and Lisa Burns into the Member X Games contest, to determine who will take a place in the LeedsMeUp.com Membership. You really need to be dedicated to come and drink in nice bars with us more than once.
